Why I run Station Way Media
For me there’s something about a camera that’s unlike anything else. The ability to capture a moment or tell a story is so unparalleled when it comes to visuals.
I was never the “creative” kid. But you give me a box and I’ll find every way to use it; inside and out. Having a goal and finding the solution to reach that goal is my favorite thing in life. It’s why through all the different experiences in my career I’ve found that at the end of the day I love one thing: making it work. I love Photography and Videography because it’s such an incredible tool to help make things work. While I’ve shifted between professional and hobbyist over the past decade, I know that this world is something I can never truly give up. - Tyler

While I grew up with a camera around the house it wasn’t until 2016 I really started to produce video work. I first started working with my church to create Sunday morning content and updates. I then joined a local small production company that taught me a lot about customer engagement, technology, and more. Eventually deciding to branch off into my own business in 2020 working with other businesses. After a couple years off to focus on personal projects, and my career as a software engineer, I’m back and more prepared than ever!

While Tyler is the producer brains, Silas is absolutely the creative. From a half dozen scripts we’ve shot together to the half dozen more we can’t wait to make. Working with Silas has become an integral part of my continued journey to challenge what I believe possible and create in new ways. When he’s on the project you know it’s going to be absolutely badass.
